Author Trice Hickman (MALS ’98) speaks

Trice Hickman (MALS ’98), an inspirational speaker and author, gave the keynote address at the Black History Month Program and Reception for the Patterson Branch Library in Lubbock, Texas, on Feb. 26.

Hickman won the 2008 African American Literary Award for Romance and has sold the exclusive book club rights of both her novels to Black Expressions, a national book club company with a membership of over 450,000. Last year she signed a three-book contract with Kensington Publishing Corp.

Hickman holds a B.A. from Winston-Salem State University and a MALS degree from Wake Forest. She lives in Washington, DC.
