A memorial service for Professor Emeritus of Chemistry Paul Gross will be held at 3 p.m. April 3 in the Wake Forest Welcome Center. Gross, who taught from 1959 until 1987, died March 17 in Winston-Salem. He was 91.

For nearly 20 years, Gross was the coordinator of the University’s interdisciplinary honors program. He also served on the first Reynolds Scholarship Committee in 1982 that selected the first recipients of the University’s most prestigious scholarship.
