Our son was in the entering class of 1996 and got one of those initial laptops. It was a big deal back then!
The Howler of 1983 brags about a very large computer that supported the entire university - including the graduate schools !!
As a freshman in 1997, we would have been lost without our RTAs (Resident Technology Advisors). I’m grateful to have been at Wake during such an exciting time! Thank you for this fascinating story about STARS and for the generosity of Mr. Feeney.
