Mike DePopas (’82) at his home in Greensboro, NC.  DePopas served as a guardian on several of the Triad Flights of Honor. The project involved escorting veterans on a flight to Washington, DC where they were able to tour of the memorials. Hundreds of WWII veterans saw the monument erected in their honor for the first time as a result of the program…(Travis Dove for Wake Forest Magazine)
